Hotel Atlantic – Hotel near airport in Bologna

The hotel had a nice size and a great location close to sites as well as the train station. The rooms were large and very clean, but let down by awful pillows and below-average bathroom facilities. The staff was friendly, especially Gabriele who was beyond nice and attentive. The location was superb, situated on a quiet street just a stone’s throw from Via dell'Indipendenza and an easy walk to the train station. Dining was plentiful and very good, though some items like not fresh bread were noticeable. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.

I was allocated a room in the attic, which may be ideal for persons with disabilities. The room had some wear and tear but was a decent size with an en suite bathroom, all spotlessly clean with towels changed daily and fresh soaps provided. The service was exceedingly kind and accommodating regarding special requests about room preferences; the staff were excellent, very helpful, friendly, and efficient. The location was excellent, a leisurely 10-minute walk to the main railway station and just minutes from Via del Independenza with a wide array of shops and restaurants. However, the dining options were rather minimalistic and not so complete for the price. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with minor room issues and limited dining choices.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were cozy and even had a balcony, clean enough, and big enough to move around comfortably, although a wall bracket for the shower hose would have been convenient. The service was excellent, with the staff always smiling and even going the extra mile to inform the police of my car plate number to avoid a ticket. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk from both the city center and the train station, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The dining experience was delightful with good quality food despite not having an extensive selection. Overall, a top-notch experience with great value for money.
